Custom Bus Group has been building buses in Sydney, Australia since 1955. With over 65 years’ experience it is Australia’s oldest bus builder and Sydney’s only full bus builder. We are looking to recruit the right people from the UK to emigrate to Australia. For the right candidates we assist visas and relocation expenses.

The Role

Hands on position, demanding high levels of commitment to quality. You will work on a variety of tasks involved with bus & coach body building. Working to the highest standards without close supervision to achieve an acceptable level of work throughout whilst maintaining quality standards always.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Bolting, screwing, riveting and bonding interior and exterior panels & extrusions which consists of aluminium, fibreglass, plastics, and glass parts.
• Cutting and shaping panels of aluminium, plastic and fibreglass and attaching to frameworks using hand and power tools.
• Modifying assembly line vehicles to special requirements to customer requirements
• To undertake any other duties or responsibilities that are reasonably required by a supervisor, manager, or director.
• Be an effective team member, working with supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.
• Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
