The Opportunity:

A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Robotic Welder Programmer/Operator to join our leading heavy vehicle manufacturing operation based in St Marys. This is a full-time permanent role and will be responsible for the implementation and development of newly installed robotic welders for the build of our state-of-the-art electric buses.

About you:

Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with robot welding processes. In addition, you will have experience in manual welding processes and basic component design.

Skills needed to succeed in this role include:

• Experience in robotic welding equipment operation, enhancement and maintenance
• Experience in the development of new robotic welding programs
• Generate new robotic welding processes and procedures
• Assist with the design and implementation of robot welding jigs and fixtures
• Establish and document design procedures, manufacturing processes and systems
• Demonstrated ability to effectively organise workflow with excellent time management skills
• Demonstrated analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation
